ZZCigar is an online cigar maker built around a single obsession: patience. We release one blend, the Midnight Reserve, and we age it in cedar for at least five years before it ships. How the Midnight Reserve began

We started by buying young Nicaraguan and Dominican long-fillers we admired, then discovering that most of what made a cigar great happened after the roll, in the years of quiet resting that small brands rarely fund. So we flipped the model. Instead of selling cigars fresh to move inventory fast, we committed capital to cellaring an entire production run for five years before offering a single stick. The Midnight Reserve is the result of that wait.

Where and how it is made

  • Blended and rolled in Esteli, Nicaragua, by a family factory we have worked with since day one.
  • Filler: Nicaraguan ligero and viso plus Dominican seco long-leaf, no chopped short-filler.
  • Wrapper: shade-grown Ecuadorian Habano, hand-selected for even colour and vein structure.
  • Aging: a minimum of 60 months in Spanish cedar at 68 to 70 percent humidity and roughly 18 degrees Celsius.

Why we sell online only

A cigar sitting on a warm shop shelf under bright lights slowly dries out and loses the character it took years to build. As an online store shipping from a single climate-controlled facility, we can hold every cigar at ideal humidity right up to dispatch. It also lets us enforce age checks consistently, something busy retail counters struggle to do.

Our compliance and honesty commitment

ZZCigar sells tobacco only to adults aged 21 and over. We verify age electronically at checkout and require an adult signature with valid photo ID at delivery; failed checks are cancelled and refunded. We never market to minors and never imply that any cigar is safe. Cigars contain nicotine, which is addictive, and tobacco smoke carries chemicals linked to serious disease. We make no health, wellness, or therapeutic claims of any kind. What we do promise is transparency: real roll dates, real aging times, and honest descriptions of what you are buying.
